  • Responsible for development and implementation of human resources policies and procedures




  • Screen, recruit, interview, hire and dismiss employees as necessary




  • Direct all hiring and training procedures for new employees




  • Coordinate and direct work activities for managers and employees




  • Conduct progress reviews and assessments, discuss any problems or grievances they may have




  • Foster a positive, open and comfortable work environment for employees




  • Adhere and understand to all pertinent labor laws




  • Responsible for training and development programs




  • Assist with performance management procedures




  • Advise management on policies and procedures




  • Prepare and maintain accurate records, files and reports





Qualifications:






  • Proficiency in HRIS software  




  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources




  • CHRL/CHRP  an asset




  • Knowledge of Ceridian




  • 3-5 years of experience in  HR management




  • Strong knowledge of MS Office
