- Responsible for development and implementation of human resources policies and procedures
- Screen, recruit, interview, hire and dismiss employees as necessary
- Direct all hiring and training procedures for new employees
- Coordinate and direct work activities for managers and employees
- Conduct progress reviews and assessments, discuss any problems or grievances they may have
- Foster a positive, open and comfortable work environment for employees
- Adhere and understand to all pertinent labor laws
- Responsible for training and development programs
- Assist with performance management procedures
- Advise management on policies and procedures
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, files and reports
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in HRIS software
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources
- CHRL/CHRP an asset
- Knowledge of Ceridian
- 3-5 years of experience in HR management
- Strong knowledge of MS Office
