Heavy Duty Truck Coach Technician (310T)

Location: Cambridge

Duties and Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment

 • Explain vehicle diagnosis to customers; provide excellent customer service in an efficient manner

 • Ability to work under time constraints

• Knowledge of  manufacturer’s service manuals to perform tasks

• Analyze, inspect and diagnose mechanical issues to minimize major problems

• Ensure the shop is kept clean while adhering to safety measures

• Keep up to date with industry standard training; update skills as required

• Adhoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Licensed 310T Truck and Coach Technician (prerequisite)

• 1 year or more of hands-on experience as a heavy-duty truck technician or equivalent experience

 • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary training in the automotive field an asset

 • Valid class G driver’s license and a clean abstract

 • Must have necessary hand tools

• Strong comprehension skills and ability to take directions

 • Strong mechanical and technical aptitude

Dispatch Accounts Coordinator

Located in: Etobicoke, ON

Daily Job Duties

  • Dispatch and provide sound direction and support to drivers
  • Dispatch drivers and ensure deliveries are picked up and dropped off on time
  • Coordinate and schedule back hauls and report on delayed status and new loads
  • Follow up with clients on late deliveries, emails and customer enquiries over the phone and in person
  • Provide a high level of customer service to clients
  • Main contact person for drivers 
  • Maintain driver phone logs, driving logs, gas receipts
  • Negotiate rates with custom brokers as needed
  • Set up delivery routes for efficiency

Job Requirements

  • Experience working in the transportation industry
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Previous experience working with drivers performing dispatching duties
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service at all times
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to read GPS accurately
  • Proficient computer skills using MS Office software

Receptionist

Location: Mississauga, Ontario

Job Duties

  • Arrange courier pick up, monitor deliveries and distribute mail
  • Assist payroll department with invoicing and data entry
  • Respond to customer request by phone, in person and via email, calendar management
  • Organize, set up meeting and board room for corporate meetings
  • Greet guest in a professional manner
  • Ensure office supplies are adequately stocked
  • Perform administrative and clerical tasks

Job Requirements

  • 1 year experience in customer service or a clerical role
  • General knowledge of MS Office
  • High School Diploma an asset
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of CRM systems
  • Ability to multitask in a fast based environment
