Job Duties

Accounts Payable/Payroll tasks

Verify invoices and confirm approval for customer payment

Enter invoices and match working in ERP system

Accurately create and process invoices, wire payment, deposits and wire payments

Post regular journal entries

Perform account reconciliation, review customer statement and resolve issues

Responsible for file HST and GST

Liaison with finance department to ensure completion of month end and year tasks

Process and approve weekly and biweekly timesheets

Responsible for biweekly payroll  – 350 employees

Calculate overtime hours, vacation, deductions and bonus

Remit and calculate payroll deductions (income tax, EI, CPP etc.)

Prepare ROE’s Setup new employer accounts and record maintenance

Job Requirements

3-5 years of Canadian payroll experience

2 years of manufacturing experience an asset

Sound computer skills using MS Office (QuickBooks and Paymate)

Post Secondary education a definite asset

Strong communication skills (English written and verbal are a must)

Ability to work in a fast pace environment

Strong work ethnic with high standards for professionalism and confidentiality

TIG Welder

Job Duties

Responsible for measuring, cutting, lay out and aligning metal and stainless pieces to perform job.

Use calipers, measuring tape, grinders and straightedges

Quality check welds for accuracy and perfection

Able to weld according to blueprints

Strong fabrication and welding skills

Maintain a clean and organized welding space

Previous experience using drill press and brake press machines an asset

Comfortable working in team environment

Job Requirements

Ideal candidate must be able to weld in horizontal, vertical, flat and overhead positions

Adjust gas gauges to set the flow rate of shield gas

3 or more years of welding experience

Able to use hand and power tools

Ability to read mechanical blueprints

Heavy Equipment Operator/Technician

Job Duties

Responsible for troubleshooting and operating hydraulic pumps and safety valves
Operate powered units and heavy equipment (gasoline and diesel)
Load and unload machines from vehicle

Immediately report and document accidents, safety hazards, and injuries
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify mechanical issues and defects on equipment and machines
Remove, assemble, disassemble, and install new machinery equipment
Ensure new and old equipment is lubricated
Ensure safety tests are performed on damaged machines

Perform preventative maintenance tasks

Job Requirements

3 or more years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic, operator or related experience

Sound technical and mechanical skills

Strong attention to detail

Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics (an asset)

Maintenance Technician

Logistics Manager

Location: Toronto, ON

MAIN DUTIES

 

-Manage the traffic department as well as develop new strategies to streamline processes and reduce costs.

-Responsible for 2 direct reports and Material Handlers in Toronto and Calgary

-Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce

-Evaluate and report on KPIs, ensure cost, productivity, accuracy and targets are met

-Negotiate prices with customs brokers and rectify customer issues

  • Maintain electrical components, repairs and install mechanical units and systems
  • Building, assembling and wiring of control panels
  • Perform  electrical and mechanical troubleshooting  tasks and routine maintenance according to company standards
  • Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
  • Maintain organized, safe and clean work space
  • Assemble and disassemble equipment and make repairs
  • Diagnose malfunction equipment and machines
  • General knowledge of PLC an asset
  • Exposure to hydraulic equipment and machines
  • Adhere to company protocols in ensure safety

Technical Experience

  • Able to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics and or engineering drawings.
  • Intermediate computers skills an asset
  • General understanding of  plumbing, electrical and maintenance equipment and  systems
  • Ability to read blueprints required
  • Post secondary Diploma/Degree in Engineering,  skill trades or equivalent experience
