Parts Manager

Location: Cambridge, Ontario

Salary: TBD

• Supervise the parts team to foster customer service and achieve sales targets and expectations

.Foster a positive work environment while meeting financial and safety objectives

• Keep up to date with market and sales trends to optimize product offerings and maintain competitiveness

• Maintain adequate stock is onsite, monitor inventory levels, ensure adequate stock levels to meet customer demands

• Ensure strong relationships with customers, vendors and suppliers

• Work closely with the service department to ensure tasks are being done with minimum issues

• Exhibit strong communication abilities with internal and external customers

• Train and lead a strong team to ensure a positive work environment

• Monitor and conduct ongoing inventory audits

• Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction

• Supervise budgets, forecast sales, and track expenses to ensure a positive outlook

• Implement and participate in company initiatives to drive company growth

Heavy Truck Part Representative

Location: Kitchener

Hours: Friday 7:00 am – 7:00pm, Saturday-Sunday 6:00am – 6:00pm

Pay: $19.00-$28.00/hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

– Manage the counter desk, and handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in an efficient manner.

-Educate customers on truck parts and services

-Monitor and maintain inventory and stock

-Operate forklift to transport and arrange products

-Responsible for ensuring accurate files, records, customer details, and reports are completed

-Utilize CRM software as an asset

Requirements

– Must have knowledge of heavy-duty truck parts (required)

– Previous experience working in a part department or relevant experience

-Able to meet company objectives and sales targets

-Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment; excellent problem-solving skills

-Able to lift 70-80 lbs (occasionally)

-Familiar with MS Office software
